About the Journal

Revista Alergia México (RAM), established in 1953, is the official scientific publication of the Mexican College of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (CMICA) and the Latin American Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (SLaai). Its mission is to disseminate high-quality scientific knowledge in the fields of allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology, with a special focus on Spanish-speaking countries.

Revista Alergia México is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published quarterly (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31). The journal is committed to advancing research in clinical allergy and immunology by publishing original articles, emerging trends, innovative methodologies, and state-of-the-art techniques. In addition, RAM supports medical education, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development in the specialty.

The journal serves as the official organ of CMICA, a leading institution in the field. CMICA originated from the Mexican Society of Allergists founded in 1946, which evolved into the Mexican Society of Allergy and Immunology (MSAI) in 1967, and was renamed CMICA in 2000.

RAM is also the official publication of SLaai, legally established in Asunción, Paraguay, and representing national societies across Latin America affiliated with the World Allergy Organization (WAO). Through these affiliations, RAM strengthens its position as a leading scientific voice in the global allergy and immunology community.
